Montreal Envelope Inc. was founded
in 1917 as a small enterprise. In 1961 four individuals bought
Montreal Envelope Inc. Mr. Bernard Proulx is the one
remaining owner. With 85 years of experience and growing strong
Montreal Envelope Inc. remains
a dynamic family enterprise ready to meet an expanding market.
In
1961, we bought Provincial Envelope in Toronto, now called
Metro Envelope Ltd. In 1963,
we opened Enveloppe Quebec Ltd.,
our branch in Quebec City. In 1987, we opened a branch called
Rofalex International Inc, which made window cylinders and
dyes for envelope folding machinery - a technology that we
developed and patented. Rofalex International Inc. was sold
in 1994. In 2000, we opened Montreal
Envelope Inc. in Ottawa (Ontario).

and its branches sell their products to industrial consumers
and governments from east to west of Canada. We also sell
to distributors and printers. We enjoy working with our customers
- small or big - to manufacture a product of exceptionnal
quality. Our experienced professionals and range of machinery
permit us to customize any size or volume of envelopes - plain
or printed, large or small.
